LIMBO is a series of vignettes exploring the trauma and psychological impacts of a journey of uncertainty, struggle, safety, opportunity, and, most importantly, self-actualization.

It is precisely at the U.S. - Mexico border where the question is perhaps most imperative. How can an individual get to experience the Christian Limbo in the flesh by not belonging anywhere and living in a permanent state of anxiety, uncertainty, and possibility?

At the border between El Paso and Ciudad Juarez, there await stories of tenacious voices full of pause—delineating narratives that would otherwise be forgotten or silenced by force or intimidation.

This project does not aim to emphasize any political ideology, and it is not politically motivated. As a student of the human soul, those topics go beyond my abilities as a storyteller and need further deliberation. Rather, this project seeks to be a psychological exploration of those individuals that leave everything behind for their safety or a better life. The viewer should fill in the remaining gaps and come to their own conclusions.
